Welcome back to a new and revamped series of this newsletter! Henceforth, every The Monthly with All That Geo issue will feature a data visualisation and spatial analysis tutorial. The tutorials will highlight a particular web-based tool or platform, different each month. You'll find the flavour of the month in the newsletter subject.
As promised in the last issue of this newsletter, I will be sharing the workflow I followed when building Frenchy's Virtual Home in ArcGIS Online.
Since Frenchy's Virtual Home includes multiple web apps, it would be unfeasible to provide you with a comprehensive tutorial featuring all of them in one go. Also, let's be honest: it's New Year's Day, and you're probably still in holiday mode 😉. So, in this tutorial, I will go through the high-level workflow only.
As a reminder, Frenchy's Virtual Home is a hub site that sits on Esri's ArcGIS Online and showcases the ecosystem of apps in action. At the time of writing, it includes a story map, a dashboard, a workbook and a web experience (that consists of two dashboards and a survey).
